At Ahoroa Studio, we believe the most meaningful creations are the ones that tell a story. Whether you’re looking for a personalised lamp, a special gift, a unique piece of home décor or something created specifically for your business, we can help bring your ideas to life.

Our custom design service lets you explore ideas that reflect your interests, story or occasion. We welcome enquiries about personalised gifts, weddings, anniversaries, business and corporate gifting, important milestones, unique home décor and other original pieces.

We can also discuss original Māori and Pasifika-inspired concepts, with care taken to respect cultural origins, meaning and any permissions required. From one meaningful gift to a larger order, we’re happy to discuss what’s possible.

A 50% deposit is required before custom design work or production begins, with the remaining balance payable before the completed order is dispatched or collected.

For complex or entirely original designs, a separate design fee may be required upfront to cover concept development. All fees, deposits and payment terms will be explained in your quote before work begins.

Once work has commenced, deposits may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by New Zealand consumer law. Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act remain unaffected.

Looking for something memorable for your business, organisation or event? Our lamps offer an alternative to conventional gifts, combining decorative appeal with a meaningful story. They can be used to acknowledge guests, thank clients or celebrate team achievements.

We welcome bulk enquiries and can discuss pricing based on quantity and design requirements. Whether you need five lamps or fifty, we’ll work with you to find a practical solution.

We produce our products locally, and turnaround times vary with design complexity, order size and our current workload. Standard designs may be completed sooner; new designs and larger orders take additional time. We’ll provide an estimated completion date when confirming your order. Please contact us early for event deadlines.

Ahoroa Studio draws on Māori and Pasifika inspiration with care for the origins and significance of cultural imagery. Some patterns or symbols may require cultural guidance or permission before they are reproduced or adapted. We also respect artists’ intellectual property and may require permission to use third-party artwork.
